Access Computech at SmartTech Asia 2026

Two days at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, and a reminder of why the hardware layer is where digital infrastructure succeeds or fails.

SmartTech Asia 2026 brought together some of the most relevant voices in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and deployment-ready innovation, and we were glad to be part of it.

Access Computech exhibited at the event held at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, on 7th and 8th April 2026, showcasing our solutions across biometrics, payments, digital identity, and secure transaction infrastructure to a floor of stakeholders who are actively building, procuring, and scaling these systems.

What we showcased

SmartTech Asia Asia draws a broad audience from enterprise IT heads, system integrators, government technology teams, and innovation leaders across sectors. That breadth made it the right platform for us to show the full range of what Access brings to the table.

We presented our biometric authentication and enrollment solutions, our payment hardware portfolio, and our broader suite of identity and access infrastructure. All of which is certified, deployment-ready, and built for the kind of operational demands that don't show up in product brochures.

The conversations at the booth reflected where the market is right now. Organisations across banking, fintech, enterprise, and government are past the evaluation stage.

The questions we heard most weren't about whether to invest in this infrastructure. They were about what to look for, how to deploy at scale, and who to trust as a long-term hardware partner. Thirty-plus years of field experience makes those conversations for us easier to have.

Many interesting conversations

We spoke with enterprise technology heads navigating large-scale biometric rollouts, payment infrastructure teams evaluating hardware for last-mile deployments, and digital identity programme managers thinking through interoperability and compliance requirements.

Across all of it, a consistent theme emerged: the software architecture is getting stronger, but the hardware layer is where deployments succeed or fail in the real world.

That's a conversation we've been having for three decades. It's good to see the broader market arriving at the same conclusion.

Mr. Ajay Sinha at the Future Transformation Podcast Series

One of the highlights of our time at SmartTech Asia was seeing our Managing Director, Mr. Ajay Sinha, featured as a guest speaker at the Future Transformation Podcast Series running alongside the event.

The theme of his session, ‘the Future of Identity and Payments’, sits at the heart of where digital ecosystems are heading. Identity and payments are no longer parallel tracks. They are converging, with digital identity emerging as the core layer that makes secure, seamless transactions possible at scale. From Aadhaar-linked authentication to the next generation of payment infrastructure, the direction is clear: the systems that will define financial inclusion and digital trust over the next decade are being built right now.

Mr. Sinha brought to the conversation what Access brings to every deployment, three decades of ground-level experience, a clear-eyed view of what works in the field, and a perspective shaped by operating at the intersection of identity and payments in one of the world's most demanding and diverse markets.

Our thanks to the Future Transformation team for the platform and the opportunity.

A note of thanks

To the SmartTech Asia organising team, thank you for creating a platform where these conversations happen at the right level, with the right people in the room.

To everyone who stopped by our booth, attended the session, or took the time to connect over the two days, we look forward to building on what we started.

See you again in 2027.
